Police arrested Jokhan Kohar, 31, on May 15 for the charge of killing his 28-year-old wife Lalita Kohar of Ramgram Municipality-16, Sabuni.
DSP Resham Bohora of the District Police Office informed of INSEC that a complaint against the accused was filed on 13 May alleging that he killed his wife with a sharp weapon during a dispute on 12 May.
The post-mortem of the body was done on May 13 at Prithivichandra District Hospital. Radheshyam Kohar, father of the deceased, said that the body was cremated on the same day.
