Manoj Budha, 35, committed suicide on May 12 after killing his 32-year-old wife Kamala Budha, 32, of Bangad Kupinde Municipality-4, Deuli on the same day.
Inspector Bhawani Prasad Dhamala of the District Police Office reported that the victim was killed by using a sharp axe on her neck. He added that the husband had a mental health condition and further investigation regarding the incident is going on.
The bodies of both the deceased have been brought to the district hospital for post-mortem.
