Police arrested 24-years-old Shyam Bardewa of Sundar Haraicha Municipality-9 on January 8 for allegedly raping a 14-years-old girl. The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the Area Police Office, Belbari on January 8 alleging that the accused raped the victim on January 3, 2024.
DSP Ranjan Dahal of the District Police Office informed that the alleged accused was arrested for further investigation on the basis of the complaint filed. The health examination of the victim was done on January 9 at Koshi Hospital.
