District Police Office Kanchanrup registered a complaint against 22-year-old Dinanath Mukhiya of Tirahut Rural Municipality-4 Diman tole on December 25, 2023 under the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl.
The aggrieved party lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office Kanchanrup on December 21 alleging that the accused had raped the victim on December 20. The medical examination of the victim was done on December 21 at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital Rajbiraj.
Locals stated that after the incident became public, they tried to make a settlement. Subsequently, the accused is currently absconding after the complaint was filed.
