Bamkumari Shah, a victim of domestic violence of Birtamod Municipality-10, Jhapa, currently staying at her parents’ home in Bardia District’s Gulariya Municipality-4, received financial assistance from INSEC, Nepalgunj on December 27 to support her legal proceedings.
The victim filed a property dispute case against Sukabir Lama on December 23, 2022, at the Banke District Court in Nepalgunj. She alleged that her husband deprived her and their daughter from eating and proper clothing. Additionally he obstructed their daughter from obtaining citizenship.
INSEC provided financial support of Rs. 8000 to the victim for facilitating the legal proceedings for the property dispute case under sub-sections (1), (2), and (3) of Section 267 of the Civil Code Act 2017.
