Accused Of Homicide Arrested 

On October 31, The District Police Office apprehended the individuals involved in the fatal shooting of Mr. Rupesh Swarnakar, a 35-year-old principal of Bal Ekta English Boarding School, located in Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City-1, which occurred on October 30.

The arrested individuals include 22-year-old Radha Gupta residing in Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City-6, Madarsa Tole; 34-year-old Jamil Akhtar; 26-year-old Riyaz Ansari from Kalaiya Sub-Metropolitan City-9, Rampur; 23-year-old Chandan Kumar of Bharat Motihari, East Champaran, specifically from Ghodasahan Village in Jagirikoti; and 23-year-old Abhinav Kumar Rajput, also from Bharat Motihari, East Champaran, residing in Ghodasahan Village, Baharwakala-12.

Although the police arrested the accused on October 31, the District Police Office held a press conference and made it public on November 1.

Rupesh lost his life while undergoing treatment at Narayani Medicity Bayodha Hospital in Birgunj. Additionally, the authorities recovered four bullet casings from the incident scene.

SP Suresh Kafle of the District Police Office disclosed that the investigation revealed Radha Gupta’s pivotal role as the primary planner and information conduit, while Jamil Akhtar and Riyaz Ansari were identified as accomplices. Additionally, Chandan Kumar and Abhinav Kumar were identified as members of the Rajput Shooter Gang. Furthermore, SP Suresh Kafle conveyed that the incident was triggered by an extramarital love affair and related animosity.

DSP Dadhiram Neupane of the District Police Office informed that Sujit Kumar Singh, a 25-year-old resident of Sukalhia Bihar Thana, Darpa 1 Sukalhia, Motihari, East Champaran, India, along with 24-year-old Chanchal Pandey, 22-year-old Manish Kumar Sahni, and 20-year-old Kameshwar Sahni, are currently absconding. The authorities are actively conducting a search for these fugitive individuals.
