Police arrested 39-year-old Upen Chaudhary on October 6 on the charge of killing his 30-year-old wife Jitani Sahani of Biratnagar Metropolitan City-19 Dhanpura.
DSP Ranjan Dahal of the District Police Office informed that the accused was arrested for investigation on the charge of stabbing his wife to death on September 30 during a domestic dispute.
DSP Dahal said that the accused was arrested from Biratnagar on October 6 after the locals informed the police that Upen had killed his wife and absconded.
The post-mortem of the dead body was done at Koshi Hospital on October 1 .
