The aggrieved party filed a complaint against 44-year-old Dilip Kumar Yadav on October 3 at the District Police Office, alleging him of caste discrimination against 33-year-old Rambaran Mahara Chamar of Godaita Municipality-11, Sisotiya.
The victim said that they filed the complaint at the Malangwa District Police Office, accusing Yadav of engaging in caste discrimination and physical assault on September 19.
The victim has alleged that while he was washing clothes in the canal to the south of Godaita Municipality-8, the accused who came to clean the motorcycle said caste based slurs for touching the water, assaulted the victim and showed inhumane behavior. However, Chandeshwar Yadav, the 67-year-old father of the accused, stated that his son simply told the victim to wash his clothes after he collects the water and did not engage in any physical violence.
Dr. Nawal Kishor Jha informed that the health examination of the victim was done on October 3 at Sarlahi District Hospital Malangwa.
DSP Dipendra Panjiar Tharu of the District Police Office Malangwa informed that the accused is currently absconding and the investigation is going on.
