Police arrested 31-year-old Pandav Tamang of Khijidemba Rural Municipality-6 on September 19 on the charge of rape of a 31-year-old woman with psychosocial problems.
The aggrieved party filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on September 17 alleging that the accused had raped the victim on September 11, 2023.
Inspector Balistar Singh from the District Police Office stated that the accused was arrested from his residence for investigation following the victim’s complaint.
The health examination of the victim was done at District Hospital on September 17.
