Sushma Shahi, 21, Shubhakalika Rural Municipality-8, filed a complaint at the District Police Office,Kalikot on September 15, accusing her 28-year-old husband, Prakash Shahi, of forcibly evicting her from the house.
The victim at the District Police Office,Kalikot on September 14 complained that the accused had threatened her, demanding her to leave the house, citing his intention to marry someone else. Furthermore, he threatened to harm her if she did not agree with him.
Inspector Poshan Thapa, the District Police Office, Kalikot stated that an investigation has been initiated, and search operations are underway after the complaint was filed.
The victim submitted an application to INSEC and SOSEC on September15 seeking essential assistance, as they were facing financial constraints that made it challenging to navigate the legal process.
