Thirteen Cadres of Biplab Led Nepal Communist Party Arrested

Police arrested 13 activists of Netra Bikram Chandra ‘Biplab’ led, Nepal Communist Party, who argued in favor of individuals arrested in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees from the District Court on June 14, 2023.

The police arrested them from Babarmahal while they were protesting in front of the district court.

Among those arrested are Prakash Shahi, 33, of Kalikot, Prakash Bastola, 29, of Kaski, Atal K.C, 24, of Chitwan, Anil K.C, 27, of Rolpa, Lokesh Joshi, 25, of Kailali, Tara Sanjyal, 28, of Kathmandu, DB Chand, 30, of Rukum. Adesh Jang Chettri, 23, of Salyan, Hasta C, 25, of Dhankuta, Bajir C, 27, of Kathmandu, Chetan C, 23, of Kathmandu and Samir C, 25, of Banke.

Spokesperson SP Sitaram Rizal informed that those arrested were detained for two hours and then released at 5 pm.
