The victim’s husband, Pappu Kumar Chaudhary, filed a complaint at the Hanumannagar Area Police Office, on April 17, 2023, alleging Urmiladevi Chowdary, 35, on the charge of pouring boiling water on the body of Rinjukumari Chaudhary, 25, of Hanumannagar Kangkalini Municiplaity-5 Yoginia.
Pappukumar said that Rinju was injured when the accused poured hot water on the victim’s body due to a family dispute.
He said that after the victim’s treatment was possible at Rajviraj, the injured was admitted to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan.
According to DSP of the District Police Office, Naresh Kumar Singh, the police team of Hanumannagar discovered that the accused had absconded when they reached the spot for investigation.
