Police have arrested Gopal Katwal, 60, of Manebhanjyang Rural Municipality-2 Waxa on 6 April 2023 on the charge of rape of a 24-year-old woman.
The victim filed a complaint against the accused at the district police office on 6 April, alleging that the accused had raped the victim on 8 March 2023.
Inspector Devendra Das of the District Police Office said the accused was arrested for investigation.
The health examination of the victim was conducted at the district hospital on 6 April.
