Dipendra Kami, 21, of Tila Rural Municipality-5 has been arrested by the police on 9 March in the charge of rape of a 17-year-old girl on 21 January 2020.
Team of police deputed at Kudari Police Post arrested the accused from Tila Rural Municipality-4, Sapulli.
Inspector of District Police Office, Yam Bahadur Budamagar informed that the accused has been remanded to judicial custody for further investigation on 10 March.
Aggrieved party had filed a complaint at the District Police Office on 29 February 2020. Medical examination of the victim was conducted at Karnali Health and Secience Academy the same day.
