Police registered a complaint against Narayan Chhetri, 36, the owner of Hotel Bluesky of Lumbini Cultural Municipality-7, on the charge of trafficking a 16-year-old girl for sexual activity on 6 March 2023.
The victim filed a complaint at the local police office of Lumbini on the charge of human trafficking and prostitution, accusing Chhetri of forcing the victim into sexual activity for a month.
Inspector Gajendra Rawat of the Area Police Office informed that the police have taken action based on the complaint, and the accused is absconding. The health examination of the victim was done on 3 March at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
