A complaint has been registered against Haider Miya, 55, his wife Saifula Khatun, 50, Tawari Miya, Sahina Khatun and Batulan Kujarni at the Police office on 26 February in the charge of committing inhumane behavious against a 37-year-old woman alleging her of being a ‘witch’.
District Police office Saptari registered a complaint following a mandamus order from High Court, Janakpur (Rajbiraj Bench). Husband of the victim informed that the accused had abused and beat the victim on 12 March 2022 alleging her of making Sahina Khatun’s son sick via sorcery.
