Police arrested Megh Bahadur Saru, 36, of Rampur Municipality-10 on 26 February in the charge of rape of a 46-year-old woman.
Aggrieved party filed a complaint at the District Police office Palpa on 26 February alleging that the accused rape the victim on 23 February.
As per DSP of the District Police office Birendra Thapa, the accused has been arrested based on the complaint and the investigation is underway.
Medical examination of the victim was conducted at the District Hospital on 26 February.
