Police arrested 57-year-old Bal Bahadur Bhandari of Dullu Municipality-8 Mehalpani on the charge of sexually abusing a 17-year-old girl.
Inspector Purushottam Karki of the District Police Office informed that Bhandari was arrested on December 16, 2022, on the charge of sexually abusing a girl in the forest when she was collecting firewood on December 13.
According to Dr. Dharmaraj Regmi, the health examination of the victim was conducted on December 13 at Dailekh District Hospital.
Inspector Karki reported on the start of the initial investigation of the incident.
