Amrita Kumari Yadav (Rita), 28, living in Bateshwar Rural Municipality-5, Shantipur, was killed by her husband , Birendra Kumar Yadav ,32, with an ax on December 12, 2022. The incident took place at 4 am during a dispute over tea.
DSP Pradip Bahadur Chhetri said that Yadav was arrested by District Police Office Dhanusha.
Amrita Yadav, who was seriously injured, was taken to Kavya Hospital in Janakpur for treatment, where she died during treatment.
The post-mortem of the dead body was done at Janakpur Provincial Hospital on December 12.
