Registration for the nomination of candidates for the upcoming House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly election has begun on October 9, 2022.
According to the Election Commission, registration can be done between 10 am and 5 pm in any major Office of Election Officer within the country from October 9.
Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya, Chief Election Commissioner, has informed that the commission also has the provisions of admission of registration through representatives of candidates. Furthermore, complaints against any candidacy can be filed by 11th October, and the investigation and decision on the complaints will be undertaken by 12th October. The final candidacy list will be published by 12th October. Withdrawal of the names has been made possible by 13th October with distribution and final publication of lists appointed on the same day.
