Police have arrested Mohammad Imran, 27, a teacher at a Madrasa in Ghoghanpur, Kanchanroop Municipality-6, Saptari District and a resident of Piprahi village in Ladniya Thana of Madhuvani District, India, on the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl. He was arrested on July 23, 2022.
The victim said that was raped by the accused on July 20 after the other students returned home from school. The accused had taken her to the room of the Maulvi (the preacher of the Islam community) in the Madrasa.
The mother of the victim filed a complaint at the Area Police Office Kanchanroop on July 20.
The health examination of the victim was conducted on July 20 at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj.
According to the police, a complaint was registered against the accused by the Area Police Office, Kanchanroop, on July 21.
