Beneficiaries have been affected due to the closure of video x-ray machine at Damauli hospital.

Video x-ray service has been disrupted since one and a half month due to the lack of competent and experienced humanpower in the hospital. Because of the shut down of video x-ray service in the government hospital, the patients are compelled to conduct the video x-ray at high cost in the private hospitals.

Manoj Subarnakar from Byas Municipality-14 informed that he had to take the service from private hospital at high cost because of the disruption of x-ray service in the government hospital. Prior to this, the hospital had been providing video x-ray service twice a week.

Dr. Diwas Dhalak, Medical Superintendent said that, a doctor from OPD ward had taken the training for the regulation of video x-ray on behalf of hospital and the same doctor had been running the service twice a week. However, the service has been hurdled after their transfer to another place one and a half month ago.

Damauli hospital had been providing video x-ray service at NPR.500. At present, the patients are compelled to pay more than NPR. 1200 in the private hospital.

Dr. Dhakal said that Damauli hospital had been providing this service to around 25 people a week. However, right now, they are compelled to send the patients to other hospitals.
