Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy from Konjyosom Rural Municipality on June 2, 2022, on the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Chapagaun on June 1 alleging that the accused had repeatedly raped the girl since April 25, 2022.
Spokesperson of the Metropolitan Police Complex Jawalakhel and SP Siddhi Bikram Sah informed that the accused has been remanded in custody by the Lalitpur District Court for five more days for further investigation.
The health checkup of the victim was conducted on June 2 at Patan Hospital on May 3.
