Informal Sector Service Centre (INSEC) has provided financial aid to a 27-year-old victim of rape. The victim is also a person with physical and psychosocial disability.
INSEC Gulmi representative has provided assistance of NPR 10,000 to the victim’s brother since their financial condition is very fragile.
The victim’s brother had appealed the district representative of INSEC for legal and financial assistance on April 17.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on April 18, 2022, alleging that Krishna Nepali, 29, of Isma Rural Municipality-3 had raped the victim on April 17.
According to DSP Madhav Raj Kharel of the District Police Office, the accused was arrested from Rupandehi district on April 19 and was taken to the court. The accused has been remanded to custody on May 6.
The victim was examined at Gulmi Hospital, Tamghas on April 18.
