Police arrested Shyam Bahadur Darji, 31, of Purbakhola Rural Municipality-3 on May 28, 2022, on the charge of raping a 25-year-old woman.
According to DSP Birendra Thapa, the victim lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on May 28 alleging that the accused had raped her on May 27.
DSP Thapa also mentioned that the accused was arrested on the basis of the complaint.
The victim stated that she was raped when there was no one at home at night.
The victim has been examined at Palpa Hospital on May 28.
