A complaint was filed by the victim’s family at the Area Police Office, Lalbandhi, on June 9, accusing Harindra Kumar Chaudhary Tharu, 42, alias Huka of Lalbandi Municipality-11, of attempting to rape a 31-year-old woman on May 22.
An investigation is underway following the incident, according to the Inspector of the said police office, Sujan Pathak.
The victim underwent a medical examination on June 9 at Sarlahi District Hospital, Malangwa.
