Police arrested Bishal Tamang, 22, of Butwal Submetropolitan-9 on May 29, on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the Area Police Office, Butwal, on May 31, accusing Tamang of raping the victim on May 23.
The victim underwent a medical examination on May 29 at Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
