Police arrested two individuals on April 1 in connection with the death of Dharmendra Kumar Sah, 14, from Khadak Municipality-9, who was residing in the hostel of Phuleswhar Public English Boarding School at Kalyanpur Municipality-7.
The arrested individuals are Dhirendra Chaudhary, 49, from Khadak Municipality-10, and Bhola Mandal, 41, staff (caketaker) from Lahan Municipality-20, Siraha. According to DSP Damba Bahadur Puri, Dhirendra Prasad Chaudhary, Bhola Mandal, along with Shobha Chaudhary, 45, and Rabina Chaudhary, 24, are being investigated under charges of abetment to suicide. The complaint was filed by the deceased’s father, Tilai Sah, 44, at the Kalyanpur Police Station on April 1.
The body of the deceased was found hanging from a metal ventilation in the school hostel room at 12 noon on March 21. The police stated that the body was handed over to the family after a postmortem was conducted at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, on March 22.
