Amisa Parajuli, a resident of Suryabinayak Municipality–7, who had participated in a protest at Maitighar on March 28, against the arrest of former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli by the newly formed government, has filed a complaint at the Cyber Bureau, Bhotahiti, on April 1, alleging sexual harassment on social media after her video went viral.
According to Deepak Raj Awasthi, Information Officer at the Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police Headquarters, the complaint states that Parajuli received threats of gang rape through platforms such as Facebook and TikTok, and that 16 fake TikTok accounts were created in her name, along with the production of cartoon and comedic content misusing her identity.
