Former Minister and Deepak Khadka of the Nepali Congress were arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police from Budhanilkantha on March 29.
CIB spokesperson and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shiv Kumar Shrestha informed that Khadka was arrested for investigation in a money laundering case.
Khadka was arrested after the Department of Money Laundering Investigation sent a letter to the Police Headquarters requesting an investigation against him.
