Police have submitted an investigation report concerning the death of Inisha BK to the District Government Attorney’s Office. The District Police Office in Surkhet completed the investigation and submitted the report on March 25.
On March 7, Inisha BK, 16, from Birendranagar Municipality–1, was found deceased. Following the incident, police detained a 16-year-old boy and proceeded with the investigation. Three other minors were also taken into custody on suspicion of possible involvement.
According to Sudhir Raj Shahi, Chief of the District Police Office, Surkhet, the report has been handed over to the Government Attorney’s Office. He did not disclose the findings of the report.
As the conclusions have not been made public, the victim’s family has expressed concern. The family has alleged serious wrongdoing and has stated that they will not receive the body until those responsible are held accountable. Inisha’s body has been kept in the morgue of Karnali Province Hospital for the past 19 days.
