Accused Arrested in Wife Killing Case

They had entered into an inter-caste marriage five years ago. After the marriage, the issue of not having a child for a long time led to the victim being subjected to continuous physical and mental abuse by her in-laws. The victim’s family has claimed the death to be suspicious, alleging murder after bruises were found on her body.

The victim’s family filed a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on March 18.

According to the police, the postmortem of the body was conducted on March 18 at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpurdham.

DSP Ganesh Bahadur Bam informed that the victim’s husband has been arrested, and further investigation is underway.
