Police have arrested Chandrika Shah, 48, of Bihar, India on April 18, 2022, on charges of raping a nine-year-old girl.
The victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on April 18 alleging that the accused had raped her on April 17.
According to DSP Prem Bahadur Shahi of the District Police Office, the accused has been arrested and is being interrogated.
The victim’s mother told INSEC that the incident took place when the girl was roaming outside the house in the evening.
According to Dr. Mehmood Nurul Hoda, the victim was examined at Prithvi Chandra District Hospital, Parasi on April 16.
