With the support of organizations including INSEC and organized by the Ministry of Social Development, an interaction program was conducted on the occasion of the 116th International Women’s Day.
Under the slogan “Rights, Justice, and Opportunities for Achievement for All Women and Girls,” the program was held on March 8, 2026 in Birendranagar and concluded with an interaction and sports competition.
During the program, discussions were held on ensuring women’s rights, equality, justice, and opportunities. Participants emphasized the need for the state and concerned stakeholders to take effective measures to end violence against women, increase women’s participation in decision-making processes, and ensure the rights of women and girls.
At the end of the program, various games were organized to convey the message of women’s rights and equality. Likewise, the organizations that supported the program were honored with tokens of appreciation.
