Shambhu Shah, 45, chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party in Dhanauji Rural Municipality-3, alleged that on the morning of February 23, he was beaten near his home while leaving a salon after getting a shave. The accused were Tanvir Safi, 35, Sharif Safi, 25, and Firoz Safi, 30, all from the same area.
Shah, who was injured in the attack, is currently receiving treatment at the Provincial Hospital in Janakpurdham.
Regarding the incident, Sub-Inspector Shiva Singh Rajput of Dhanauji Police Post stated that the suspects were called to the police post for questioning. According to him, the preliminary investigation suggests that the altercation arose over an old monetary transaction and was initially just a verbal dispute.
