The police have arrested Bimal BK, 23, of Birendranagar Municipality-1, on February 16, on charges of raping a 42-year-old woman on February 15.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Surkhet, on February 16.
The victim underwent a medical examination on February 16 at the provincial hospital. According to DSP Mohan Jung Budhthapa, the police have begun their investigation.
