Police Remove Campaign Materials Violating Election Code of Conduct in Dhanusha

District Police Office Dhanusha removed flags and banners pasted in violation of the election code of conduct from various public places, intersections, and electricity poles in Janakpurdham on February 7.

According to DSP Ganesh Bam of the District Police Office Dhanusha, after it was found that the Rastriya Swatantra Party had pasted banners and flags bearing the slogan “Now this time, Balen Government” on poles targeting the House of Representatives member election scheduled for March 5, a police team was mobilized to remove those materials.

Bam informed that after removing the banners pasted in places including Ramchowk, Shivchowk, around Janaki Temple, Janakchowk, and the bus park area, the police have been continuing to monitor.
