The police arrested Binod Pakhrin, 30, on January 30, 2026, for killing his wife, Kopila Nepali, 23, of Godawari Municipality-7, on the same day.
District Police Range Lalitpur’s Information Officer and SP, Gautam Mishra, informed that the accused went to the Tika Bhairav police post and surrendered, stating that he had killed his wife.
The accused mentioned he committed the crime after consuming alcohol and attacked his wife with a shard. The post-mortem was conducted at Patan Hospital on 31 January.
