Police arrested an escapee from the District Jail, Saptari, during the movement on September 9, 2025, on January 11, 2026, in Morang.
Narendrakumar Pal, 32, of Shambhunath Municipality–3, Saptari, who had been serving a sentence at the District Jail, Saptari, escaped on September 9 and was arrested by police from Banjarachok, Biratnagar Metropolitan City–2.
Pal, who had absconded while serving a sentence for a rape case at the District Jail, Saptari, will be handed back to the jail following legal procedures, the police stated.
