Police have arrested Ratna Bahadur Nepali, 55, on the charge of killing his wife Tila Nepali, 42, of Baglung Municipality-14. He was arrested on March 16, 2022.
The accused had tried to kill the victim by smashing her head with a stone on March 16. According to Inspector Bijay Bhandari their neighbours had informed the police about the incident after which the accused was arrested from his residence.
The victim took her last breath at Dhaulagiri hospital on March 17 during her treatment. A case of intentional homicide has been filed against the accused on March 17.
The post-mortem of the victim was conducted at Dhaulagiri Hospital on March 17.
