Police arrested Ramkaran Loniya, 34, a resident of Kushma, Palhinandan Rural Municipality–3, and a computer operator at the Election Office, Bardghat, on January 8, 2026, for allegedly raping a 28-year-old woman.
The victim had reported that Loniya raped her on January 6, 2026, and filed a complaint at the District Police Office, Parasi, on January 7.
The victim underwent a medical examination on January 7, 2026, at Prithvichandra District Hospital, Parasi.
