At Rural Housing Company Limited located in Bardghat Municipality–1, employee Mahendra Thapa, 42 was allegedly mistreated on December 11, 2025, by a group of 10 individuals claiming to be members of the Nepal Communist Party (Majority). According to him they reportedly entered the office without permission and pressed hot iron against him.
Although the victim filed a complaint about the incident with the District Administration Office, no one has been arrested so far, and the accused are under search and investigation, informed DSP Bir Datta Pant of the District Police Office.
