Police arrested Bir Singh Sunar of Siyari Rural Municipality-1 on 7 December for the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl. The aggrieved party had filed a complaint at the Rupandehi District Police Office on 8 December alleging that the girl was raped on 4 December.
The child underwent a medical examination on 8 December at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa.
