The INSEC Karnali Province Office provided 7,500 rupees on December 10, 2025 to Nirmala Tiwari, 29 originally from Madanchowk, Ward No. 3 of Kohalpur Municipality, Banke, and currently residing in Mehli, Birendranagar-16, to support her legal proceedings due to her weak economic condition. She had submitted an application to INSEC on November 24 after her husband,Prakash KC, 33 physically assaulted her and expelled her from their home, seeking assistance to file a divorce case at the Surkhet District Court. The Human Rights Support Desk Secretariat meeting held on December 3 decided to provide the assistance, which, according to INSEC Karnali Province Coordinator Narayan Subedi, aims to help her manage transportation, photocopying, and court fees during the legal process.
