A 16-year-old juvenile who was arrested for investigation in a drug related case on 26 November 2025 from Simariya Jaguwa Chowk of Duhabi Municipality-10, was allegedly tortured on 1 December while in the custody of the Area Police Office, Duhabi, according to his family. The victim’s side has alleged that police inflicted torture while he was in custody for investigation in a drug-related case.
The father of the juvenile from Baluwa Bazar-5, Supol Station, Bihar, India, held a press conference in Inaruwa on 4 December and accused the Area Police Office, Duhabi, of torturing his son. He has alleged that the police tortured him in custody to force him to confess involvement in drug trafficking.
Superintendent of Police Keshav Kumar Thebe of the District Police Office stated that no detainees in any police unit have been subjected to torture.
