Police arrested a 17-year-old boy from Chainpur Municipality-3 on 5 December, for the charge of raping a 14-year-old girl. The victim’s family had filed a complaint against the accused at the Chainpur Area Police Office on 23 November stating that he had raped the girl on 22 November 2025.
Inspector Dhan Bahadur Rajbanshi of the District Police Office stated that, based on the complaint filed by the victim’s family, the accused was arrested from Chainpur Municipality for investigation. The health examination of the victim girl was conducted at the District Hospital on 5 December.
