The police have arrested Sanju Sunar, 23 resident of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-18, Dang, originally from Parivartan Rural Municipality-1, Rolpa, on the charge of killing Sita Sunar, 25.
The victim’s family filed a complaint at the District Police Office on the same day, November 16, 2025, alleging that Sunar had killed his wife over a domestic dispute.
The body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem was conducted on November 17 at Rapti Health Science Institute, Ghorahi. The accused has been taken into custody and an investigation has been initiated, informed DSP Chakra Bahadur Shah of the District Police Office, Dang.
