Police have arrested Manoj Chaudhary, 30 on 15 November 2025 on the charge of murdering his wife, Kavita Chaudhary, 26, of Aurahi Municipality–6, Bairiya Tole.
According to the Gaushala Area Police Office, during a domestic dispute on 15 November 2025, the accused attacked his wife with scissors, inflicting injuries to her chest and temple.
Kavita, who was critically injured, was taken to Janaki Academy Hospital in Ramgopalpur Municipality–9, where doctors declared her dead upon arrival.
Mahottari District Police Office SP Heramb Sharma said police arrested the accused immediately after the incident and have begun an investigation.
Police stated that the post-mortem examination was conducted at Bardibas Hospital.
