Out of those who lost their lives during the Gen-Z protest, the government declared 45 individuals as martyrs on November 3. Among them, two are from Dolakha: Abhishek Chaulagai of Sailung Rural Municipality-4 and Mahesh Budhathoki of Bigu Rural Municipality-3. Although three people from Dolakha died during the protest, only two have been declared martyrs.
