Twenty juveniles escaped from the Child Reform Home in Bhaktapur, Sanothimi on the afternoon of November 2. According to DSP Nawaraj Dhungana of the Thimi Police Range, 15 of the escapees have been re-arrested from various locations, while a search operation is ongoing to arrest the remaining detainees. He added they are planning to arrest the rest by the evening of November 2. The reform home has been housing nearly double its capacity, and due to the practice of keeping youths along with juveniles, frequent clashes and vandalism incidents have been occurring inside the facility.
